ABOUT

My designs are inspired by my alpine hikes, alpine wild plants and wilderness, botanical studies, gardens and gardening - I also love to visit English gardens, especially the historical ones, and I support any kind of engagement around nature conservation. I have a preference for country living interior decoration with a touch of modern simple, but romantic and soft earthy.

To design patterns for surface, I started 2016 in Mürren, a small alpine village of the Jungfrauregion, located high up in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, where I lived for 32 years.

Since I left, I’m busy with looking out for motives in the Swiss Jura, in the 3 Lakes Region and at the Lake of Thun.

Originally I studied fine art at HEAD Geneva and was active as a painting and drawing artist in the 80ties and 90ties. The work of that time is not online.
